Today I was providing a life modeling session for a hen party who were Glamping in Blagdon!
I was booked by Hens with Pens for this session and was working with a wonderful Art Tutor called Trudi.
The group was big! 20 hens and they were Glamping at a local campsite in Blagdon.
It was a beautiful day and the Champaign was already flowing when I got there.
I was a complete surprise for the bride and most of the group was not expecting me either! I made a big entrance. They had made a special request for me to introduce myself under a fake name, specifically, the name of the Bride’s first boyfriend! It was an in-joke which the group had been running and they all found it hilarious when I announced my pretend name.
We began the life drawing and many of the girls produced fantastic sketches.
They also had a golf ball which was used as a drinking game, whenever the ball got put into somebody’s drink they had to down it! I managed to put this ball into at least 3 or 4 peoples drinks whilst I was inspecting their sketches which they all found very entertaining.
Trudi gave expert tuition and helped get the best out of the girls creative skills.
We all had a lovely time and when we finished we got a big group photo outside in the sun with Blagdon lake in the background.
The girls had more surprise activities planned but they couldn’t talk about it so as to keep it a secret for the bride.
We said our goodbyes and I left the girls to their day and I traveled to my next hen party to be a Buff Butler!
