This was a superb and unusual location for a hen party Life Drawing session!
Situated near Cardiff, the Cwm Tawel Yurts are a secluded Glamping camp site in Maesteg.
On this occasion I was a surprise for the bride. The other hens hid her away in a Yurt whilst I got myself ready.
I got a little distracted taking photos of the hot tub and the yurts!
These girls were an obsolete delight! They’d already been having fun all day doing it’s a knockout style games and activities.
I was their last piece of entertainment before they headed out into Cardiff for a night on the town.
This was a 90 minute session (standard). I gave them plenty of paper and charcoal and explained each drawing exercises one after another.
They produced some beautiful work.
This a perfect activity for a bride who does not want a stripper but still wants some fun activities!

Today I was working for Spartan Butlers at this fantastic Hen Party in Cardiff South Wales!
I was a surprise for the bride and I was snuck into the house so I could get changed and then make a big entrance!
The girls had chosen to dress up as super heros and they had already been partying for hours when I got there. They were already in a vey good mood!
I was asked to make cocktails all evening for the hens which I was very happy to do. They had already prepared all the ingredients I would need and then it was my job to make sure everybody stayed topped up!
We had lots in common because they were all avid Gym go-ers and we chatted for ages about the various classes they attend.
Some of the girls were dancers and fitness instructors and the bride was particularly interested in AcroYoga and circus aerial. A perfect group for me since I love all those things!
The group were a pleasure to be with, they were lots of fun.

Since November 2015 I’ve been slowly buying the necessary ingredients, equipment & spirits to begin cocktail making workshops for hen parties in 2016!
I’m very lucky to have several good frieds help me learn the basic skills. I’ve been building up my knowledge by learning one cocktail at a time and making sure I fully understand the process for each one.
Last night I made Cosmopolitans and Sex on the Beach for friends. It was exciting to use my new martini glasses and cocktail kit for the first time. We measured the ingredients exactly and added garnish to make it look visually appealing.
My trusty black bow tie fell apart (I’ve had it 2 years) so I didn’t quite have the full cocktail waiter look but it was a great first session.
The only equipment I need to get is sugar syrup, a cool box for transporting ice, tequila, tumblers, and boxes for the glasses, and then I should be ready to deliver high quality 90 minute cocktail making workshops for events and hen parties.
Over the next few weeks I will get some high quality profesional photos to convey what I’m doing properly and help hen party companies promote this activity.
If you would like to book my cocktail making workshop for your hen party then get in touch. There will be 6-10 cocktails on the menu.
I cover Bristol, Bath, Swindon, Oxford, Gloucester, Somerset, Devon, Cardiff.
