This is one of my favourite venues! And a wonderful group of hens who were from all party of the county.
The Curfew is a beautiful listed building and a friendly bar and restaurant run by the owners. There is a private function room upstairs which we regularly use for life drawing workshops.
Some of the hens were teachers and one of the ladies had been to art college and so she was already well trained at life drawing.
The ladies had been making flower head pieces all morning which they said was very good for their hangovers!
The bride was a very good sport and posed with me (fully clothed) so that her friends could draw us both!

If you are looking for a professional Life Drawing Workshop for your Hen Party in Bath then look no further.
Here are some photos for the last session we did with a wonderful group of ladies who were spending the weekend in Bath.
Usually a Life Drawing session will involve 6-10 poses from the nude model. Drawing materials will be provided, all you need to do is arrive, get yourselves a drink at the bar, and take a seat.
Everything will be explained and all you need to do is relax and enjoy yourselves.
The conduct always remains professional and fun. Nobody will he made to feel uncomfortable, and the model will not come into physical contact with any of the guests. Typically a robe is worn between each pose.
The hens are welcome to enjoy drinks and talk and there is usually lots of giggles as we work our way through different drawing exercises.
Once you have booked and paid there is nothing more for you to worry about. You will be contacted nearer the time and on the day to confirm everything is still ok.

Today I was providing a life modeling session for a hen party who were Glamping in Blagdon!
I was booked by Hens with Pens for this session and was working with a wonderful Art Tutor called Trudi.
The group was big! 20 hens and they were Glamping at a local campsite in Blagdon.
It was a beautiful day and the Champaign was already flowing when I got there.
I was a complete surprise for the bride and most of the group was not expecting me either! I made a big entrance. They had made a special request for me to introduce myself under a fake name, specifically, the name of the Bride’s first boyfriend! It was an in-joke which the group had been running and they all found it hilarious when I announced my pretend name.
We began the life drawing and many of the girls produced fantastic sketches.
They also had a golf ball which was used as a drinking game, whenever the ball got put into somebody’s drink they had to down it! I managed to put this ball into at least 3 or 4 peoples drinks whilst I was inspecting their sketches which they all found very entertaining.
Trudi gave expert tuition and helped get the best out of the girls creative skills.
We all had a lovely time and when we finished we got a big group photo outside in the sun with Blagdon lake in the background.
The girls had more surprise activities planned but they couldn’t talk about it so as to keep it a secret for the bride.
We said our goodbyes and I left the girls to their day and I traveled to my next hen party to be a Buff Butler!

Wow what a location! Parks court was one of the most impressive mansions I’d ever seen for a hen party! It had huge beautiful gardens, a massive living room (more like a great hall), open fire, a comfortable dining room and goodness knows how many bedrooms and out buildings.
It was a beautiful sunny day when I arrived at the gates. The girls had booked me as a surprise for their friend’s hen party and I was working for Hunks in Trunks on this occasion.
The bride’s sister sneaked me into the house so I could get changed and then I made a big entrance and presented the bride with a glass of Champaign.
The girls were lots of fun. We were playing drinking games from the get-go.
It didn’t take them long to get me doing handstands as you can see from the pictures!
The girls had booked a Chef through Hunks in Trunks and so it was my job to serve them food.
The meal was fantastic and the girls were very happy.
The only trouble was we wanted to play more drinking games after dinner but unfortunately had to leave t attend t another booking in Bath! I would have been very happy to stay to help with more games.
We made sure we got plenty of photos and I thanked them for having me then went on my way.
It was a lovely bunch and I was very glad to meet them.

This could be the most enjoyable hen party I’ve ever done. The girls were incredibly sweet and friendly and they’d organised myself and Simon to surprise their friend with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries.
We were working for Hunks in Trunks on this occasion.
They’d taken great care to keep us a secret and Sophie the bride was genuinely surprised.
After we’d poured everybody a drink we began the drinking games. We were pinning willies on the butler (blindfolded of course), competing to throw hoops on to willies (not real ones!), basically anything to do with Champaign chocolate blindfolds and willies!
We even got talking about Yoga and Handstands and we decided to start practising handstands in the kitchen! (Not usually a great idea but I am a professional handstand teacher and I know how to spot people safely so they can’t fall over)
The house they had rented was a beautiful holiday home (mansion) in Bath and it was walking distance from the town centre.
Simon the other butler was a delight to work with a very charming man who was great to be around.
After we’d all had fun for over an hour and got to know each other it was time to say goodbye and leave the girls to enjoy the rest of their evening.

For Hunks in Trunks
Well it was another great hen party at this beautiful country holiday cottage near Bristol. I was working for Hens with Pens on this occasion and was accompanied by fantastic tutor and artist Hannah.
The Life Drawing workshop was a surprise for the bride. She’d been led to believe the girls would only be drawing each other. They spent some time drawing portraits of each other using pencil and charcoal and then were given a long break to refresh their drinks.
Hannah snuck me in so I could get changed and make my appearance.
The bride was lovey and genuinely surprised by the entrance of a male model.
It was a sunny day and the champagne was flowing and everybody was in good spirits.
The group produced some beautiful sketches, some of the hens having artistic backgrounds.
It’s always a surprise who will have talent for life drawing, and with the assistance of the tutor the hens often surprise themselves. There’s usually always a few in the group who produce some outstanding work!
After the hour was finished we said our goodbyes, the girls were headed out to Bristol that night for a night on the town.

Since November 2015 I’ve been slowly buying the necessary ingredients, equipment & spirits to begin cocktail making workshops for hen parties in 2016!
I’m very lucky to have several good frieds help me learn the basic skills. I’ve been building up my knowledge by learning one cocktail at a time and making sure I fully understand the process for each one.
Last night I made Cosmopolitans and Sex on the Beach for friends. It was exciting to use my new martini glasses and cocktail kit for the first time. We measured the ingredients exactly and added garnish to make it look visually appealing.
My trusty black bow tie fell apart (I’ve had it 2 years) so I didn’t quite have the full cocktail waiter look but it was a great first session.
The only equipment I need to get is sugar syrup, a cool box for transporting ice, tequila, tumblers, and boxes for the glasses, and then I should be ready to deliver high quality 90 minute cocktail making workshops for events and hen parties.
Over the next few weeks I will get some high quality profesional photos to convey what I’m doing properly and help hen party companies promote this activity.
If you would like to book my cocktail making workshop for your hen party then get in touch. There will be 6-10 cocktails on the menu.
I cover Bristol, Bath, Swindon, Oxford, Gloucester, Somerset, Devon, Cardiff.
This was my first booking for hunksintrunks.co.uk! I was very keen to entertain this group of girls in their weekend holiday house and make a good impression! I prepared extra drinking games for this 3 hour booking to ensure this hen party received plenty of bang for their buck!
When I got there the girls had been enjoying the hot tub and settling into the house. Their Chinese takeout arrived soon after me so once I’d introduced myself to everybody I helped with the food and pouring drinks.
The hens were in and out of the hot tub but it was so cold outside it was difficult to bare!
After we’d finished with dinner it was time for some games. I helped make some cocktails which was a lot of fun because I was learning on the job and somebody the girls were helping me.
There was a range of ages including school friends, work colleagues, neighbours, mum, mother in law and an aunt. I can assure you the older ladies are not shy and in many cases are the most confident!
We played the twerking game, the cucumber game, the balloon game, the cock fighting game, the cellotape game, and more.
It’s amazing how fast 3 hours flys by when everybody is having fun!
It was a pleasure to meet this group and I was very glad to be working with Hunks in Trunks that evening.

Well this was a super fun group of hens! And they produced some great quality sketches too! They had rented an enormous country Manor House near Bath called Week Farm Monor which was extremely luxurious. I was working for Henswithpens.com on this occasion and Amanda was our Art Tutor.
The size and luxury of this house really struck me. The group was large and it easily accommodated a group of 20 with it’s huge hot tub and acres of land.
I gave these hens a range of unusual poses to draw. They already had a Buff Butler the night before! I was slightly jealous since I would have loved to have served drinks in this house. I quizzed them on what he did and they told me he was well behaved and did the dishes!
Whilst I was there I took a few photos of the beautiful house. The hens were very modest and thought their sketches were terrible but actually were very good.
I had another hen party booking that afternoon in central Bath so I had to leave as soon as we were finished. It’s a shame I had to rush off as I would have invited myself to have a go in the hot tub!
The girls had a lot of fun and they had a great weekend overall. Bath is after all a great city to visit for a hen party weekend.
